NAMM International Fastest Drummer Competition 2007 Results |
The 2007 NAMM International Fastest Drummer Competition has just come to a close and the results are in. Mike "The Machine" Mallais takes the Battle of the Feet competition with an amazing 978 while Jeff Guthery walks away with the Battle of the Hands competition with 1054 strokes in a minute.
According to Craig Alan, cofounder of the WFD, "I think this may have been our best show yet". As always the WFD puts on a good show with quality entertainment. This year was no exception as the "Ten Finger Orchestra" performed throughout the show.
Also worth noting, Mike "The Machine" Mallais set a new world record for double bass singles during preliminaries with 1034 strokes per minute.
